The survival bar helps you survive in extreme conditions and push the limits of your capabilities. THIS-1 is bar energy bar created on the basis of nuts and seeds.

The nut-flavored survival bar is created from a specially selected blend of peanuts, almonds and sunflower seeds , milled to a flour form and thoroughly mixed with other ingredients such as chocolate and sunflower seeds. Thanks to a special binder, heat treatment and vacuum packing in special airtight packages, bars remain fresh and edible for many years. Thanks to the nuts finely ground into meal form, bar is not hard and is very tasty.

This is due to our physiology, or more precisely, our post-workout recovery needs.

It will be primarily based on the need to reduce muscle protein breakdown, as well as promote an increased rate of muscle protein synthesis.

Insulin plays a key role here. The role of this hormone will be both anabolic [1], based on improving muscle protein synthesis (MPS), and anti-catabolic [2], based on reducing muscle protein breakdown (MPB).

Interestingly, the post-workout hormonal response alone is sometimes insufficient for above-average exercisers! First of all, these people require a much faster recovery process, as well as limiting the adverse effects of post-workout damage (Muscle Damage).

You can influence the support of these processes in a very easy way, including by “potentiating” the processes that promote post-workout recovery. The easiest way would be to consume an adequate pool of carbohydrates, and here a serving of carbohydrates would work great [3].

The effect that can be observed will be to both rebuild post-workout damage faster, as well as allow for a much more effective replenishment of muscle glycogen stores.

The optimal ratio between protein and carbohydrates is about 30% protein, and about 20% carbohydrates. Do This-1 bars have near-perfect ratios by chance? Probably not😉

Thanks to properly selected proportions of ingredients, the body will be stimulated and prepared for high-intensity effort. Thanks to this, we can achieve a result even a few percent better!

For long-distance sports that require endurance, other energy bars are best. Thanks to the optimal ratio between carbohydrates and fats, they provide us with energy for the initial phase of effort in which sugars are burned, and for the second phase of effort in which the body switches to obtaining energy from fat. One bar can give us energy for up to 2 hours of intense exercise, or 4 to 6 hours of less intense exercise! Thanks to this, when competing in long-distance running, mountain climbing, cycling competitions, triathlon or other disciplines, we can be sure that we will not run out of energy.

Consuming more than 1 Super Energy bar with guarana, caffeine and Siberian rhodiola extract (three different substances that stimulate metabolism, physical and mental performance) can be treated as doping by the Olympic laboratory. Each bar contains 100 mg of caffeine, and consuming 2 or more bars immediately before a competition can result in exceeding the body’s allowable caffeine limit.

Fiber is one of the basic components of food that is not only essential for maintaining a healthy and smoothly functioning digestive system, but also provides plenty of energy and will help you stay in shape. In addition to stimulating the digestive system, fiber slows down and breaks down carbohydrate metabolism and glucose absorption over time, so that energy is available for a longer period of time without the “sugar rush” that occurs after consuming foods and drinks that do not contain fiber.
